Strategy
Iron Tide Command
★★★★☆ 4.1
Iron Tide Command is a slower, thinkier strategy game where you assemble a fleet, position ships across a grid of contested waters, and try to bottleneck the enemy before they do the same to you. Every ship type has a clear role, so there's real weight to your composition.
Matches play out in tidy sessions, which suits a phone. You issue orders, watch the turn resolve, then react. There's a decent single-player campaign and skirmish battles against the AI, which puts up a fair fight on higher settings.
The interface takes some learning and the tutorial glosses over supply mechanics. Push past that and there's a lean, satisfying strategy game underneath, ideal for people who like to plan a few moves ahead.
What we liked
- Meaningful fleet composition choices
- Clean turn-based pacing for mobile
- Solid AI on harder difficulties
